12 wins in twelve months sums it up for Mr Puel. Never the same team twice , no Plan B let alone a Plan A .We should cut him free, bite the bullet and get Benitez to galvanise our team.
Nuno is performing well especially with the fans expectations being raised above the norm of a promoted team. We have to have patience with all the players including the new buys and loans, to many supporters getting on players backs that are struggling to perform but we are still elated at what’s going on and are looking forward to the rest of the season
Puel’s appointment offered the opportunity to reinforce Leicester as a seasoned top 10 side, as he did with Southampton. However, it has now become apparent why Southampton got rid. His tactics are lacking, and he doesn’t understand that Leicester need to build on a core team week in week out. Squad rotation for Leicester isn’t viable on a weekly basis, our depth doesn’t support it, we aren’t Man City & their wealth of choice. He has no Plan B to back up any bad options, and from the looks of it doesn’t understand our players capabilities & needs. Enough is enough, I would rather sack him now & see the rest of the season out with a caretaker manager, than undergo and further embarrassment of saying Puel is our manager.
Spurs have played 25 games won 19 Lost 6 ……
Of those losses , Arsenal totally outplayed , if they’d played that way all season Arsenal would have stormed the league .
City, lost 0-1 on a quagmire of a pitch , played ok , not over run and Lamella had a good opportunity but the state of the pitch meant he ballooned over
LFC , totally outplayed and at 0-2 looked out of it , got a goal back , and then denied a stonewall pen in the last play of the game .
Man Utd totally out played em ,esp 2nd half and got stitched up by a wonder display by DeGea
Loss against Wolves , was our last game over Xmas , we had to play 4 games in 10 days ,everyone else had 12,13,14 days , LFC had 14 days and MCFc had 13 , so no wonder we’d run out of energy ,esp after having played Arsenal ( Caraboo) and Barca away
With far fewer penalties than LFC and MCFc , far more injuries , esp to importantmplayerd and a smaller squad ,we are batting way above our station , that doesn’t mean Poch has right roayllly messed up in some games , like Wolves and Man Utd innpaying our slowest backs in Davies and Trippier ,against some of the fastest fronts lines around
Considering he has to work under a man like Ashley who has starved the club of any decent investment over the past 10 years. Rafa has a squad that lacks any depth of cover, he has made Newcastle hard to beat, but with a new attacking midfield man now in the squad we may see some goals flowing in as well.
Ole is doing an amazing job. He has changed the whole dynamic at OT. Brought much needed confidence and self belief to the dressing room, and, this in turn has turned their fortunes around big time. GGMU
Who would have thought a couple of seasons ago that Nuno would see us taking on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and leading the game right through to injury time and ending up holding Chelsea to a drew. Man utd bring it on especially after the way arsenal took you apart
